Who We Are
A partner, not a one-time engagement.
Desra Group began in healthcare, helping owner-led practices - including behavioral health organizations - build the leadership, systems, and operating discipline to grow from seven figures into eight. That work shaped how we operate: close to leadership, accountable for outcomes, and focused on what actually moves the organization.
Today we apply the same approach across government, defense, technology, and healthcare. Dalton Young's background in cybersecurity, governance and risk, and government contracting means federal, state, and local programs sit alongside commercial clients as core work, not a side practice.
Our approach is hands-on and relationship-driven. We often begin by supporting a specific need, initiative, or function. As we learn the organization, we help leadership identify additional gaps and put the right people, technology, partners, and resources in place to address them - direct leadership support, specialized talent, a new system, an outside partner, or added operational capacity.

For more than fifteen years, Dalton has built his career across government, defense, technology, and healthcare - starting in technical support and progressing through systems administration, cybersecurity, industrial security, compliance, executive leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Today he leads Desra Group's work with government contractors and growing organizations - scoping the problem, embedding the right cleared people into the program, and building the capability around them. His role is not to replace your leadership team or sell a predetermined solution - it is to help leaders make better decisions and deliver the right solution at the right time.
He also serves on the Board of Directors for AFCEA Orlando as Government Liaison Chair, strengthening the connection between industry, government, and the local defense community.
