Who We Are
A partner, not a one-time engagement.
Desra Group began in healthcare, helping owner-led practices - including behavioral health organizations - build the leadership, systems, and operating discipline to grow from seven figures into eight. That work shaped how we operate: close to leadership, accountable for outcomes, and focused on what actually moves the organization.
Today we apply the same approach across government, defense, technology, and healthcare. Dalton Young's background in cybersecurity, governance and risk, and government contracting means federal, state, and local programs sit alongside commercial clients as core work, not a side practice.
Our approach is hands-on and relationship-driven. We often begin by supporting a specific need, initiative, or function. As we learn the organization, we help leadership identify additional gaps and put the right people, technology, partners, and resources in place to address them - direct leadership support, specialized talent, a new system, an outside partner, or added operational capacity.

For more than fifteen years, Dalton has built his career across entrepreneurship, technology, cybersecurity, government contracting, healthcare, operations, and executive leadership. He has built, operated, and exited businesses of his own.
His role often starts alongside leadership - getting into the room, understanding what's happening, asking questions, connecting dots, and helping determine what should happen next. His work today includes government services, executive thought partnerships, strategic partnerships, and board and advisory involvement.
He also serves on the Board of Directors for AFCEA Orlando as Government Liaison Chair, and beginning January 2027 serves as Chapter Chair of the NCMS Space Coast Chapter, covering Melbourne, Patrick SFB, Palm Bay, and the surrounding Central Florida security community - strengthening the connection between industry, government, and the local defense community.
