Dalton Young, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Desra Group, has been named Chair of the NCMS Space Coast Chapter, with his term beginning in January 2027. The chapter serves industrial security professionals across Central Florida's Space Coast, including Melbourne, Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral, Palm Bay, Rockledge, Titusville, and the surrounding defense and aerospace community.

As Chapter Chair, the focus is on the practical work that keeps a local security community strong:

• Organizing chapter meetings and training sessions for FSOs, ISSOs, ISSMs, and industrial security staff
• Coordinating with government security stakeholders across the Space Coast installation corridor
• Supporting mentorship and certification pathways for security professionals earlier in their careers
• Creating space for cleared contractors, primes, and small businesses to share practical guidance on NISPOM, DCSA engagement, insider threat, and personnel security
• Encouraging participation in NCMS national programming and policy conversations
