The firm's technical foundation is built on deep expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and continuous monitoring tools including ACAS, SCAP Compliance Checker, and HBSS. Mr. Young has led Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes for highly classified weapon systems and cloud packages, ensuring compliance with JSIG, FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, and CNSSI requirements.

Beyond traditional infrastructure, Desra Group's leadership has specialized experience securing cloud-native and SaaS/PaaS environments within AWS GovCloud, including developing the System Security Plans (SSPs), CONOPS, and incident response protocols required to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and emerging AI-enabled platforms.
